I RECENTLY WENT TO A YARD SALE THAT I DIDN'T THINK WOULD HAVE ANYTHING....BUT, SINCE I WAS THERE!!!!! I SAW A BEAUTIFUL BOWL AND HAD RECENTLY BORROWED A BOOK ON NIPPON, BEHOLD!!!!!!! I TURNED THE DISH OVER AND IT HAD "NIPPON" ON THE BACK!!! I ASKED THE LADY WHAT SHE WANTED FOR THE DISH, SHE SAID $.25. I ABOUT BROKE MY NECK GETTING BACK TO MY CAR TO GET THE QUARTER!!!!! AFTER A LITTLE RESEARCH..... IT IS A NUT DISH WITH THE TEXAS ROSE ON IT.... BEAUTIFUL. IT DOES HAVE A RESIDUE ON THE INSIDE BUT....HOPEFULLY I WILL BE ABLE TO REMOVE IT. ANY SUGGESTIONS?????

Wow, lucky you! Are you looking for suggestions to remove the residue? Personaly I wouldn't do anything to the bowl. I'm including a link to ebay, take a look at these bowls and see if one of them looks like yours.
