Crafting Corner

I placed an lorder last week with an online business and it arrived yesterday by FedEx.  What fun!  Not only was everything just as I'd hoped, but they'd added a bunch of additional goodies as freebies to my order - I'd forgotten how great their service was!  Of course, I went promptly back and placed another order! LOL I'll be using a few of the goodies as door prizes on Saturday!

As I sat down and looked at the plans for Saturday's party, I suddenly realized that I needed a few more basics, such as scissors, tape, glue sticks and some pens...so off to HL last night with my list in hand.  Boy, has my local store changed since my last visit!  The fabric department has been completely revamped and expanded!  Yarns and fibers as well!  I was hard pressed to get out of there in less than an hour and still in budget. LOL  The cardmaking and scrapping section had been expanded as well!  They were out of a couple of things, so I'll have to look at Michael's this evening or maybe just not worry about those for this group..... but make sure I have them on hand for next month. 

When you made your last visit to your local craft or fiber store, what did you notice?

It's been a while for me so I'm not sure I noticed anythign different. I've been trying to get on the board for days now...haven't been able to to at home and the couple times I tried at the wi-fi spot the board kept timing out...frustrating...

Beach was great, but not a lick of stitching and none since I got home...too much going on. I had great plans for this Saturday but then remebered I have to go to NVA to visit for oldest dd's bday...boy I have to catch up on the posts...

It's good to see you back even though it's going to be short lived.  I'm glad your trip to the beach was good.

Trish, it's great having you back home!  Glad the trip to the beach was a good one --- sounds like it was a busy one too!  Hope your trip to NVA will be a great one --- I know your dd will be ecstatic to see you and share that special day with her.
