Hi Girls,
Most of you are enjoying beautiful Fall weather and it is the same here, some big white puffy clouds mixed with sunshine and 73 degrees.  I could live with this every day and NEVER complain.

Princess is at camp this weekend.
The Counsellors must be beyond delighted to have this beautiful weather for all the planned activities.  Doesn't that sound like fun?  I hope she's having a GREAT time.

Tonight is our "Childcare Fundraiser" for "Woman to Woman".  EVERYONE voted to pursue this project; however only a few of us are actually working it.  I'll be filing this experience under, "Things I learned" - just because they say they want to do it doesn't mean "they" will show up to work.  LOL  We probably won't do this next year, UNLESS it turns out to be a big money maker.  I'm scheduled to  tend to 8 boys.  I've got my bag packed with lots of games & goodies, plus a video.  "Bring 'em on!".  Did I mention I'm gonna carry a big stick?  LOL

I spent some time shopping yesterday for Princess' birthday.  Once I finish with her I will begin to shop for dh.  I have to spread it out or I'd be overwhelmed.  We have Thanksgiving then a few days later EVERYONE in the household, including Kramer, has a birthday on the same day.  I am "Miss Party Planner" for the entire group!

I've also began to pick up a few food items for our Thanksgiving meal.  Besides the usual fixin' I will also be preparing food for 2 vegetarians in our group.  It's not difficult, but it does require that I plan ahead and shop for certain items that aren't always easily found on the store shelves.  I've got a good start.

I keep checking the Board, hoping for another update from Pam.
Continuing to pray.

I was wondering what those numbers met and your note has explained all!  I'm sitting here at the shop this afternoon working with numbers and first thing I though...ahhh a combination to a safe!  LOL   It sounds like you have a lot party planning to do.  Do you want me to send Flame over to help!  LOL

Anyway.  it sounds like you will be busy.  8 boys!!!! I hope you have a BIG STICK....Have a good rest of the aftenoon.

I've been on enough school and church committees to know you can't count on everyone who volunteers; you are lucky to get a fourth of them to stick with the plan. What exactly are you doing, babysitting? I hope it is a big success.

Wouldn't it be nice if whenever we messed up our life we could simply press 'Ctrl Alt Delete' and start all over?

How long do you have to babysit these little boys and what's the deal? Do the parents bring them to the church and pay you to sit with them for so many hours? Is that how the fundraiser works? I knew you were doing it but wasn't sure exactly the mechanics of it.

For just your reasons is why I'm so hesitant to get involved with the women's groups at my church. I can come up with the ideas but to get the support to back you up is the major challenge. I really tip my hat to you for doing what you do. There is one young mother (about your age) in our church who seems to spearhead everything! She's in so deep into everything she'll never get out!! LOL She was even here raking leaves today. She's amazing.

Deb this has been gorgeous weather. Of course, I didn't like the 38 degrees when I left for work this morning.   I hope this made for a fun camp weekend for the Princess.

Oh goodness so many birthdays throwed right her with Thanksgiving. I hope you don't get overwhelmed.

I hope all goes well with the boys and you make a lot of money. Such a good idea, but yeah, been there done that. People LOVE coming up with ideas, but yeah, just ask them to show up..grrrrrr.

I can't wait to hear how your night goes.

(((hugs))
