Interesting what just happened. All the things that automatically were showing up in my "spam" area in G-mail I just delete, I have never reported them as spam in the past. Tonight I did, for the first time. Within MINUTES now there is the first spam showing up in my inbox, NOT in the spam inbox. So now I think I was on to something - if you report it as spam instead of just deleting it, it generates a new message that will end up as a regular e-mail. I created a monster, darn. Interesting to see if more show up now, too. I'm pretty sure they're all just computer generated from one place, same topic, and no, I don't need viagra or oxycodone!!!
I was just reading somewhere a few days ago that if you opt to create a new e-mail address to attempt to put an end to lots of spam or whatever, it's all changed now. It's been possible for "them" to just use a computer dictionary or whatever for years and it will search for anything remotely like an actual word when generating mass spam. And lots of folks chose to just reverse all the letters in their address to try to end it. Well, now they have a REVERSE dictionary that will also peg all of THOSE. If it spells anything real in any direction - even in the middle, they will now find you. Guess they should be so proud, people actually get paid to set up that stuff? What's next, if it contains any actual letter we're sunk? How about learning Chinese? Ya think it'll find those, too?
