There have been 3 episode's so far. This year is different because it is a "Petite" season where all of the girls are 5 foot 7 or shorter. (Maybe 5ft. 6?). I do like that they are featuring petite models but it is interesting because the contract is through Wilhemina (sp?) Models because Tyra said they are one of the only agencies that will hire shorter models. (BTW- I wish they'd do a season of purely plus sized models!!! They usually have 1-2 plus size girls on there so why not a whole season?)
There was a "shocking" event in my opinion, lol. Sean Patterson is the President of Wilhemina Models and at the beginning of the 3rd episode he met with all of the models as part of their challenge. I was busy during their meetings but I think they had to just present themselves as they would for a go-see. Sean got together with Nigel and the girls at the end of their one on one meetings and Sean said that one of the girls wasn't model material. So they cut her right then and there. I actually gasped out loud because the girl had a very unique look which Tyra seemed to like.
