Did anyone watch it? I think the McCain campaign blew such a huge opportunity tonight. Here she is, had a great crowd reception and all the eyeballs she's gonna get. She delivered a speech that was perfect for the crowd in the room, total red meat for the base. But why not use the chance to expand the electorate and get those independent voters or moderate democrats who were watching and looking for an excuse to leave Obama? She came across like an amateur at times when she smiled as she hit Obama over and over again. What a wasted moment.

Nothing against Mcain but I wish we could send him home and let Sarah Palin be the nominee. She reminds me of a female Reagan. Women here accused me of being sexist because I wouldn't vote for Hillary but I would vote for this woman in a heartbeat. One day she will be in the oval office. I think I am in love.

I watched the first 10 minutes or so before heading for bed. She was impressive, and every warning I've issued to the left over her selection has been reaffirmed.

Obama blew it big time with his veep selection, while McCain saw his chance and went for it. I'm uncertain if he can actually win, but even if he doesn't, this election will be closer than it should have been.
