What it really is about is men's oppression of women and girls. Men do not want to give up their dominance/conquering of women or girls. They do not want to look like sissies - hence their refusal of giving females the benefit of an education - women who would get ahead of men, by any means, cannot be allowed at any cost.

Those who lead by fear, or teach through fear, are the most fearful of all.  What they fear most is the loss of control of their world, as they see it. For if they lost control of their world, it would fall apart.  And they can't have that.

So, who is the strongest:  the men or the women?

<<<So, who is the strongest: the men or the women?>>>

The men are the strongest and they are using that strength to tailor their world to the way they like and want it to be.

<<<What they fear most is the loss of control of their world, as they see it. For if they lost control of their world, it would fall apart. And they can't have that.>>>

Why would they want that? There's no benefit to them whatsover.

<<The men are the strongest and they are using that strength to tailor their world to the way they like and want it to be.>>

And they are doing so at the detriment of half the world's population. Why? Is it "my way or the highway"?

Why do men feel compelled to dominate and/or oppress women? To feel superior? To feel dominant?  Is it hard-wired into their (caveman) brains that they must conquer/dominate/oppress the females of the human species?

<<<Why do men feel compelled to dominate and/or oppress women? To feel superior? To feel dominant?>>>

Men don't dominate women to feel superior, they do it because they are. The strong have always dominated the weak, it's nature's way.

Those men have a society they like, giving power to women will destroy it; it will make their society weak by giving power to the weak, and they know that. They only have to look to the West to see how well that turned out.

So why would they want to change it?
