You may or may not remember that I worked on Edwards' campaign, and I feel "personally" hurt and betrayed.  How could John and Elizabeth think that this would not get out?  What if he had won the party's nomination?  What a horror that would have become.  It's huge news now and he's not even running for anything.  It's very disheartening.

Another thing that I, as a breast cancer survivor, have heard repeatedly from my oncologists is stress and worry are very, very bad and they think a link to recurrences.  I find it significant that Elizabeth found out about this in 2006 and had a recurrence in 2007.

Nevertheless, I am also disappointed with her for not demanding that John NOT run as a candidate for his party's nomination with this kind of "secret" hanging over his head.

What kind of astounding ego issues were at play.

It is huge news, and I can understand how and why you would feel this way.

*hugs*

You've had a lot of harsh words for McCain indiscretion, what do you have to say about Edwards?

That's for sure... I have seen some Democrats come out against Edwards.. to their credit however others.. just want to invoke the many Republican names that have been guilty of the same. Some Democrats just won't own up.. I don't get that. It's not like a "I WIN" situation is it?  As I always say.. and I should put this in my signature somewhere..  "IT is what it is".. I can't tell you how many times I have said that.. even to my own kids who fret about this or that.

It is what it is.. deal with it and move on.

Huh?  I don't agree with anything McCain has on offer, his cheating on his wife is not a factor in my decision not to vote for him.

Rose. I have to hand it you lady.. you are better than me!

Now see.. for me.. it goes to Character... and I have a hard time trusting a person after they lied. I dunno..

(for the record.. I don't like McCain either)
