I'm just watching what is in my opinion the best speech of Hillary Clinton's political career.

What percentage of her supporters can she convince to support Obama?

Yes, she was at her best tonight. I supported her throughout but I wish she, her husband and those who ran her campaign had handled things differently when they realized they had underestimated Obama and his campaign.  Their egos got in the way.  Her plan B should have been looking at the VP possibility . Bill should have made it clear from the beginning that he would do what ever was asked of him by Hillary or Obama and no more. Unfortunately too many ill words between the two of them to have ever made a credible ticket.  I for one feel that after seeing them together during the primary debates, they could have been a very formidable team.

I agree with everything you said.

I'm hoping that he will pick her for a huge cabinet position. Health care has always been one of her big priorities....perhaps that is where she might go.

It was a good speech.  I don't imagine Hillary Clinton will want a cabinet post.  I think she's looking at a governorship.  If she can squeeze in a term as a governor, she'll only be 68 (younger than McCain) in 8 years.  Then, she'll have terms as a senator and executive experience behind her.  In the event that Obama doesn't win, she will run again in 2012.  I'll know how seriously everybody took that speech of hers when Bill Clinton speaks tomorrow.  If he seriously works at closing the deal for Obama, then I think she'll still have a chance down the road to give this another shot.  If Bill is tepid about Obama or unconvincing, then I'd imagine the negatives that would come from that could hurt her future chances either at a governorship or another presidential run.
