CNN is reporting that Sarah Palin has held a news conference to announce that she is resigning as governor of Alaska. She is to leave office in a month. I'm looking for a news link on this.

Thanks for the link. I just watched her strange presser. She was practically breathless or maybe choking back tears. She just rambled and said what she was doing was best for Alaska. Strange. I'm wondering if the Vanity Fair article that came out earlier this week has affected her. She made references about how someone had disparaged her son, Trig. She said she would leave government and contribute from outside of government. My thought was a conservative think tank or a K street lobbying firm.
