it is 1900 pages but also has amendments that you have to research other tax docs because of the tax penalty

I can't help with the IRS issue, but the IRS basically adjusts to whatever it is told is the new tax law.

That said, here's a link to the pdf of the CBO analysis of the plan.

http://cbo.gov/ftpdocs/106xx/doc10688/hr3962Rangel.pdf

The tab is less than $900 billion. It cuts the deficit by more than $100 billion, and covers 96 percent of legal residents by 2019.

I don't think it's worth reading. Here is the email I sent to my congressman. Feel free to copy/paste and write your congressman if you share my concerns.

Dear Rep. Connolly,

Under the health care reform bill announced today, how many Americans will be able to choose the public option? What will one need to do to qualify for the public plan? How many are expected to enroll in the new public option?

I'd like to know if I will be able to opt out of my employer's lousy group unsurance plan and instead get a decent public health insurance plan. Will I be able to do that? Or will I have to quit my job in order to get a decent, affordable insurance plan?

-----------------------------------------------
Some day we'll learn that we Americans aren't the brightest when it comes to health care reform.

I am concerned with what they are doing constitutionality wise, they are not following legislative procedure here and it could be thrown out.  Any tax amendments are suppose to start in the house means and ways commitee.  I don't see that, this bill is full of tax amendments to the 1986 code,   Are we being punked this bill can't go anywere because of the tax amendments in it.
Any change in tax code needs approval by the senate finance committee, is it going there next?

confused a little
