It appears to me that you are correct. I think of him as no "messiah." His message resonated with me and I truly didn't want any more so-called "conservatives" in charge. And, yes, I have been disappointed over some of his decisions like Gitmo, which is seems they are having a hard, hard time closing down when it was so easy, easy for the repubs to open. Oh, well, I figure he found out it wouldn't be as easy as he had originally thought to turn loose "that" tiger we had by the tail.
