Movies can be wonderful memory makers. Who can forget the wide eyed wonder of seeing animals brought to life in the animated classics of Disney's movies? Then there are those movies that re-enforce those life lessons we all strive to teach our children. Often times, the story lines can help open the doorway to what might otherwise be awkward conversations with our teens.

What movie that you love can you not wait to show your kids?

I have fond memories of watching Disney movies as a child.  I couldn't wait to share them with my kids. 

Pinocchio was always a favorite of mine and my boys love watching it.  The movie entertained them and it also gave us a chance to talk about lying and why they should always tell the truth.  It's now one of their favorite movies.

I couldn't wait for my son to be old enough to watch Goonies. :)

Thanskgiving I'm going to try to get him to watch March of the Wooden Soldiers. Next Easter I'm going to try to get him to watch The Easter Parade. I remember watching MotWS every Thanksgiving and TEP every Easter and want to share that with him. Of course, he's a boy, lol, so not sure if he'll go for those movies...but I hold them very close to my heart, along with the memories of watching them.

I love the "Anne of Green Gables" series, Kellie!  I've read all the books, and sad to say, still might check one out of the library on occassion because they are just so well written and entertaining.  The movies are so much fun to watch.
