Book cake, not movie. DD wants me to decorate w/ the pink roses and candles and pink cake. But I am not quite sure how I should make our order it.

I guess we will save my dog bones, Italy stuff, movie stuff ect... for my dvd release party.

I can ask my mom for you on tips on how to decorate or order. She is a pastry chef.

I would say though off the top of my head, if you want a smooth pink layer on the cake, make marshmallow fondant and then dye it pink. Taste mucho better than regular fondant that you buy in the store. You will need to have a thin base layer of butter cream frosting over the cake to stop crumbs from ruining the fondant and it helps the fondant lay nicer. My mom uses Royal icing when making roses. Royal icing is hard when it is dry, so it durable. You can have the cake be strawberry flavor. I would do all hues of pink on her cake.
