This was a treat day -  mostly did things I like to do...

Weight - 175

Food
oatmeal/protein/ff half and half
2 waffles
English muffin/peanut butter, diet hot chocolate
protein shake
bread/cream cheese
a small amount of noodles
piece of corn bread
6 caramles
planned
I'm making soup and I'll have a little and another piece of corn bread
60 cal pudding
cheerios
A little light on protein and heavy on carbs but low on crap

Exercise
Walk to/from the gym
11 flights stairs
swam 120 laps
planning to do floor abs between now and soup

Just for me
I've been alone most of the day but I did meet my downstairs neighbor while doing laundry and he is always kind about doing things in the building - so although there is nothing specific today, I'll count his general kindness to me for tonight

This was a treat day -  busy at work, not insane busy, but good busy....

Weight - 175

Food
oatmeal/protein/ff half and half
Protein bar
salad-chicken, celery, tomatoes
diet hot chocolate
peach
yogurt/protein
protein shake
spicy beef soup, corn bread, wheat thins, cottage cheese
raisins/nuts
planned
60 cal pudding
cheerios
4 servings of protein-if I mix some with my pudding, that will be five
I need to work on the rasins/nuts habit...it is healthier than crap but it is not really on plan...let's face it, it is not in any way on my plan...it is the difference between losing and holding my own....

Exercise
Walk to work/the gym/home, and 15 minutes at lunch
11 flights stairs
10 minutes step mill
2 minutes bike
lifting for chest/back - really good lifting....I felt like I could have gone heavier on every set, which never happens
floor abs

Just for me
Today I visited the woman I used to sit next to - she is retired and works part time. When she moved next to me, I thought it might be a problem because I am loud and there was a parade of people in my office all day and I thought that might disturb her. But she was really fun and I think she enjoyed me and my group - I know she was sad when we moved off the floor. I haven't seen her since I came back - but I made the effort to do it today.  It was really nice to see her, and...finally the point - she mentioned the status e-mails I wrote for the project and how the person who did them after I left couldn't compare to me...he never included me in the distribution so I didn't see them, but I have heard this from other people...it was something I liked doing so I am glad that people enjoyed them....and I know that this person is someone who cares about me.

Just for me
I was on the fence about swimming tonight, and when DT asked and I said I didn't know if I would, he said 'that's not like you.  you usually are ready to attack' I like that image of me.  And needless to say, I swam...

This maybe was a trick day- just a lot of little annoyances....

one hour Pilates class - but this is a small group class that has been together for a long time and they do a lot of talking and not all that an intense Pilates class.  I need to follow up on classes somewhere else because my classes this summer spoiled me.  I kind of rushed to get to the class-you have to sign up the day before and if I sign up, I feel like I should go - and then we started 10 minutes late and at least twice we stopped between exercises to talk.  The instructor was away for two weeks so that might have been part of it but I wasn't in the mood to be social...

Just for me
Not a lot tonight - but my mother called to remind me that the Celtics were on (which I had forgotten) so I'll take that as the caring...just that she thought to do something for me was nice right now.

Otherwise, it was an annoying day....work was busy but not in a productive way....at one point I lost my id on my desk, and found it under my keyboard.  I know this is paranoid, but I don't think I put it there....why someone else would I don't know, but it was strange.  And I am tired of some of the crap that has been going on for a long time and how I have to be careful of how I deal with it...I feel like I spend a lot of time and energy making sure that I act a certain way that is not who I am...and that if it were OK to be how I am a whole lot more would get done...but I am not willing to risk that...and that in itself annoys me about me.

SJ - I love your "trick" or "treat" challenge.  How clever.  I'm glad to see that most of your days have been "treats".  I also love the way you find the positive in each day and highlight that!  I'm happy that life seems to be settling in a bit for you.  I know the challenges you faced this summer took everything you had to get through!
