Hi there! So i've been sticking to 1400 calories a day for some time now, and it seems to be the best number along with long cardio workouts for helping me lose/maintain my weight. The problem is i was born with a really big appetite, so it takes a lot of self control sometimes for me to stay at 1400. 95% of the time i am completely able to do so, but every so often i have a day where cravings seem literally impossible to stop. So instead of doing something silly like wolfing down an entire pizza or cake (i could if i wanted), i'll take a chunk of calories that i would eat the following day and eat them then instead. Sometimes i do this at wierd times when the cravings hit, like late at night or very very early morning. Then i just have to have enough self control to not eat those calories the next day. I guess my question is, can these random large additions of calories at wierd times, even though they are subtracted the next day, have ANY affect on my ability to lose/maintain my weight? I'm under the impression that if the numbers stay the same it doesnt matter when they are added in, but please correct me if i'm wrong. Thanks so much!

It totally depends on the individual.  Some people can get away with it and some people can't.  If it's working for you, then it's fine, IMO.
