Shakey and weak after strength training

I've noticed that whenever I do strength training, especially weight lifting, I feel very shakey and weak afterwards. This lasts about an hour or so, sometimes a little more. The feeling is very uncomfortable! I've shyed away from strength training exercises because of this and only do them maybe once per week. Is this feeling normal???
