I've tried the Diet Peach Iced Tea at Arbys & it tastes wonderful....it looks like they add SF syrup to unsweetened tea. Do you know where I could find some SF syrups in fruit flavors?

TIA

Da Vinci makes 46(!) sf syrup flavors, including some fruit-flavored ones (peach included). You can see all their flavors on their website: http://www.davincigourmet.com/products/sugar_free_flavored_syrups/

However, their website is one of the more expensive places to buy their syrups. There are other websites that have them cheaper (especially in terms of shipping) and the cheapest way to buy them is often from TJ Maxx, Homegoods, and/or Marshall's brick-and-mortar stores. However, those stores don't always have them and usually don't have a big selection of flavors (I'm not sure I've ever seen any of the fruit-flavored syrups there). I haven't checked them in a while, but you might check Netrition.com -- they used to have a good price for them and a flat-rate shipping cost of about $6 or $7, which, when you're talking about a bunch of heavy syrup bottles, is a great deal!

Good luck on your search and let us know if you find what you're looking for!

Laura

Thanks, Laura!  I'm heading to Walmart in the AM as they're supposed to carry the syrups....we'll see.  Thanks for the info - if WM doesn't have them, then I'll check out the sites you recommended.  I don't really care for powdered iced teas, so it will be great if I can make my own flavored iced teas that actually taste good.

Good luck at Walmart -- usually, they only carry one or two basic flavors (like vanilla), but maybe you'll get lucky!

Another thing you could try is adding a splash of one of the flavored waters that are made with Splenda (like Fruit 2O)to your tea or maybe a dash of extract (the kind you bake with).

I found a SF raspberry syrup at Walmart - it tastes pretty good, though I prefer peach...I'll keep looking. In the meantime, it's nice to make my own flavored iced teas instead paying so much for them!
Thanks
