Hi Everyone!!

I'm new here to IVillage. SO excited to be here. As a Stay at home Mom I'm glad I found a place that is all mine. LOL.

I'm 35 yrs old and I need/want to lose about 40 lbs. I did this about 7 yrs ago and I'm ready to do it again.

I have found that giving up the carbs is the way to go for Me. I would like to start this (Atkins) on Monday 10-19-09 and was wondering if anyone else in here was planning on starting the program in hopes that I could find some support and a friend or two to make this journey with Me.

I am planning on starting the Atkins Diet.  I noticed we have similar ages and weight loss goals. Just wondered if you started yet?
