Hey y'all, after about 6 months away from Curves (after being a member for 6 or so years), I'm ready to rejoin. Can someone let me know when they do they canned food drive or any other promotion that waives the joining fee?

Thanks,
Nichole

Hi Nichole, welcome back :)

October is typically the month where you can take in a mammaogram receipt and get free joining fee....otherwise, March is the food drive month and you don't want to wait 5 more months, right?

Ruby's still ruling my schedule, so I haven't been in a while myself....I hope I can start fitting it in by January....I'm being realistic about the holidays! (and it still being dark at 7am so that means I don't want to get up any earlier!)

Photobucket
(Thanks Lorry (lorryfach) for my siggy :D)

Thanks Coli! So glad to see you're still here. I thought about emailing you but wasn't sure if the address I had in my old AOL account was even valid. :) I connected with Michelle recently on Facebook so it's been neat keeping up with her again.

I definitely don't want to wait 5 months. I was thinking there was something coming up in November for some reason! If not, I guess I'll just have to suck it up and pay the joining fee because in the long run I know I *need* to go back because not working out at the YMCA is not helping me any.

You have a beautiful siggy. Ruby is adorable as ever! Hope work and everything else is going well...

Thanks for the response.

- Nichole

Hi,

Right now they are having a mamogram special. Check out www.curves.com. At my Curves you wouldn't have to pay a re-joining fee. I would talk to the manager.

I am away and I will tell you more when I get home. In the mean time could you let know if the suggestions help?

I go to a Curves in Ireland. Our club is offering to waive the service fee for new members (though there is a limit so first come/first served) to celebrate Cancer Awareness month. I'd say call up your Curves and see if they have the same offer or perhaps like Mary Frances said as a returning member they may waive the fee. Good luck =)
