...Should I say something to Mrs. P or just ignore this and consider it a wake up call?

Well, maybe it's me but I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut.  It's obvious this woman is talking about you in a negative way either to her kids or around her kids which is a nasty thing to do.  Confront her, but do it nicely since the kids are friends.   Sometimes wake-up calls hurt  ;)

How many times do you suppose your kids overheard you saying something about someone and then went and repeated it?

I would not confront Mrs. P; I would not even be angry at poor Kaitlin. I would let this be a lesson to watch what I say in front of MY kids so they won't go offend someone.

I would also possibly look into a few videos or exercises classes if indeed your butt may need some toning. Three kids will do terrible things to almost anyone's butt, ya know?

And by the way--my daughter asked me why I don't go get a boob job because I am flat and everyone else in town has gotten one and "looks great." OUCH! Instead, I went and got a really padded bra. She had no clue she had hit on a sensitive issue for me.

I wouldn't say anything to the other parent.  Kids hear what people say and will repeat it.

What did they mean regarding BIG BUTT? 

Are you talking about size (as in xL+) or just Shape?  I ask because my definition of a big butt could be very different than the next person.  When I was a skinny mini, I had a big butt.  IT was a very shapely curvatious Booty.  Now that I am larger, my butt just got bigger but the same shape. 

Major difference between having a WIDE/fat butt and a shapely butt.  But that is just my opinion. LOL.  In my community having a big butt isn't a bad thing at all.  Nor is having hips/thighs. 

Not so sure that it is a good thing to have your daughter around other kids that are soooooo image driven already.  I mean she felt really bad and that ain't good.

If you lose the weight, lose it for YOU and for reasons of HEALTH.  Any other reason and you will fail to lose the weight.

thank you for replying. I'm still so angry over this. I know she's been talking about me behind my back. I can't help but wonder how many more people are involved.

I'm thinking of saying something to Kaitlin and finding out what was said.
