This Quote is from the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (Steven Covey) Calendar:
"The sucessful person has the habit of doing things failures don't like to do. They don't like doing them either necessarily. But their disliking is subordinated to the strength of their purpose."
Then it goes on to say:
"That subordination requires a purpose, mission, a clear sense of direction and value a burning yes! inside that makes it possible to say "no" to other things. It also requires independent will, the power to do something when you do not want to do it, to be a function of your values rather than a function of the impulse or desire of any given moment. It is the power to act with integrity to the proactive first creation."
I thought this can apply to so many thingsin relation to weight loss and healthy living: exercise, taking the time to cook and eat right, going to bed on time -- etc etc.
