What's your morning routine?

One of the other posts got me thinking about my laziness. So, I'm wondering if I'm going about things the wrong way. Maybe I need to rethink my daily routine, make room, change sleep habits, etc.

Currently I get up for school with the kiddo, get him ready and off, then I have an hour before I have to work. I work from 10-4, then it's homework and dinner time. Then some TV time (only 2 or 3 days a week are complete TV nights, Tuesday for example, I only watch NCIS: Los Angeles). I'm usually in bed by 11/11:30, sometimes not until 12.

Thoughts on how to fit time in for exercising? I'd like to do an hour total each day when possible. I prefer mornings, but not sure how to fit that in.

My husband works wonky hours, so he's not always around during normal gym hours to watch the kiddo.

My current morning routine would be of no help....

Erin, could you do 1/2 an hour of something before work?  Maybe a watp dvd?  They say 30 minutes a day of excercise good.  OR to start off, FlyLady says when doing things around the house, set your timer for 15 minutes.  When I have felt overwhelmed or have not felt well, I have taken my timer, and set it for 15 minutes.  And clean.  I can do anything for 15 minutes.  I think that would be a good way to get going on excercise to.

edited to add.... OOPS!  Forgot my hat was on.  Sorry!!! <blushing>

Looking at your schedule Erin,
You could easily fit in some time in the morning ..
Try for fifteen to 30 minutes in the morning ..
Then another of the same in the evenings.
Routine is half the battle :)

My own routine revolves around when I can walk with my RL buddies,
So we have a set time each day ..
Eventually I plan to walk with one of my furkids as well.
Will do that in the mornings :)

Ummmm...I get up at 5ish AM and start breakfast and lunch. While everything is warming up , I start up my walks. By the time everyone is up, I have done 30 minutes of walking back and forth with knee lifts, kicks, side shuffles and walking in place. Then off to do errands like post office...and I park 3 minutes away and walk in and that is another 6 minutes. Before lunch I can manage 5 minutes of strengthening. I split up my workouts through out the day and night.

It is easier for me to split it up.
