Not to my face, and I don't know if anyone has said it about it (I'm sure it's come up though).

I hate the word. It's hard to use it without a negative connotation, which really stinks. I think it was an episode of Bones where she said something along the lines of, "Why would you say she's fat? Fat is tissue under the skin." (I know I'm butchering it.)

The kiddo had fat as a spelling word and at 8, he said, "Fat like Mrs. So and so down the hall." He wasn't being mean, but to him, that's what fat is. He thinks my sisters pregnant stomach is 'fat'.

Not those words...my swhusband would say I am getting too heavy at the time I was overweight.

He was hinting, but I never paid attention.

No, not to my face, but I'm pretty sure that it's happened.  However, interestingly, one of the biggest events that happened to get me to jump off the diet cliff was a dream I had where I was sitting outside at a food place eating a lot.  In the dream, a small boy was walking by with his mother.  He looked over to me and I heard it clearly as if he was saying it right in my ear.  "Mom, look at that fat lady!"  I woke up and never forgot that moment and how it felt to hear that said about me.  Yes, it was just a dream, but I know it happens out of earshot.

That was the final straw for me.

Wow you sure did a good job of losing so much. How long did it take you? Not many people can do it or do

not want to. Bravo!!

I progressed slowly to get to 136, but that is ok with me , I did not want to rush it.

In 5 months I went down to 119. Now I am controlling at 121 to 122.

It is a lot of work to control to.
