Well, I said I do, but the way we do it is that we make a weekly menu on Friday night and go to the grocery store either Friday night or Saturday morning (least crowded days). We plan out 7 meals, but we don't necessarily assign them to a specific day, except weekend meals that are typically more time consuming to make.
I highly recommend menu planning. It saves a ton of time figuring out what's for dinner and whether you have what you need to make it. You also have a lot more control over your meals and calories/fat content and portion control. Planning is key to successful maintenance down the road.
