After a very very long week (Dh getting called in on his vacation day, Ds getting sick, me have a number of bad days back to back), I am so looking forward to my early weekend.

I get a long weekend this week. Yeah. Ds has no school but Parent teacher conferences, adn Dh is taking off friday since he didnt get EITHER of his 2 vacation days that he had planned last weekend since we had all that company.

As far as plans for the weekend, we might go down to see MIL on Sat if Ds stays healthy. He came home sick from school but never ran a fever and just felt Blah all yesterday, but MIL is going to be visiting my niece with SMA, so I dont want to expose her to ANY germs in fear they head up to my niece with her. Maybe go to the pumpkin patch if the weather holds and its not too cold for dd.

Sunday is swimming lesson day for Ds adn since they got cancelled last week (The pool was closed) hes really looking forward to them. And aside from the Parent teacher conference on Friday, no plans there yet.

What are your plans for this weekend?

Sounds like you'll at least have a nice family-time weekend whatever you guys choose to do.

Friday night the kiddos and I will have pizza/movie night. Saturday morning they have a soccer game and then Saturday afternoon (weather permitting) we're supposed to be meeting the Boy Scouts for the day up in the woods. Sunday their cousin is having a bday party so xdh will pick them up early from me & take them to that (it's his sister's daughter's bday) and I'll start some packing (I move next Friday).

We did okay, Turned out we didnt get to the pumpkin patch since the entire time we were at MIL Dh was fixing something for her. but we did okay.

Sunday morning we ended up have a 830AM Breakfast and then playdate, before Dh got called into work(and then to fix stuff for my grandmother) so I took the kids to my moms to help with construction of the halloween costumes, then swim lessons (DD stayed with my mom) then Ds and I picked pumpkins up, came home, made our Mr. Pumpkin head and then put 2 very tired kids to bed.

How did your packing go? Did you guys get to go to the woods for the boy scout thing?

Oh such lofty dreams I had lol

The packing ended up just being sorting & purging so far :-(

Gotta put those boxes tonight and start packing them up!

We didn't make it to the boyscouts thing because I chickened out due to the rain which turned out to be a good thing. The cubscout leader sent an e-mail last night that 3 families didn't make it due to swine-flu (including his own 2 sons) and that as of yesterday afternoon he himself wasn't feeling well so he was cancelling their meeting for tonight so I think I made a good call in at least avoiding some extra germs! lol

Hey lofty dreams sometimes come true (I am just never sure for who).

And it does sound like a great thing you chickened out. ANd I am sure you will get teh packing done, even if you have to enlist the kiddos to help ya (And maybe sort as well). Good luck. I wish I could come over and give you a hand.
