I am getting ready to head down to the Pittsburgh half to cheer on Bernadette, Carolyn, and our own RW, Erin! I am going to wear my running clothes and hit the trail near there for a few miles then go over to the finish line by the time the ladies should be coming in. Bern and Carolyn are both trying for a sub 2:00:00 half!

Good morning, all!  I remember when the end of Daylight Savings Time meant I would get an extra hour of sleep - or I could stay out an hour later!  Now that I have kids, it means that I'll be up an hour early the next few days as the kids' bodies adjust to the new time.  Yuck.  Today they were up at 5:30 and 6:00.  Blah.

I am heading out today to do a practice run of my upcoming 5K.  It's in a town, so I expect to be slowed down a bit by crossing traffic, but we'll see!

Have a relaxing Sunday, everyone!

Good morning running women! Happy Marathon Sunday! At least, here in NY its Marathon Sunday. Coverage starts at 9 am, race takes off at 11 am. I'm such a geek I plan to watch the entire thing. Kelly is upset that I'm not taking her to church service, but this is the one day of the year that MY sport gets tv coverage, and I'm planting my butt on the couch to enjoy it.

Is everyone running off their Halloween candy consumption? I didn't eat too much and I ran 7 miles in the morning, so I don't think I did too much damage.

Big sports day here: Giants v. Eagles at 1 pm, then game 4 of the World Series at 8:20. Wow. My butt is going to get flat today! I'm having coffee tomorrow morning with a new friend from church who just scheduled her first triathlon for this summer so it'll be interesting to talk to her about that.

My plan is to swim sometime today (maybe during the Brett Favre game?) unless I feel so inspired to run watching the NYC marathon that I can't help myself.

Have a great day and a great workout everyone!!!!! Love, Mo.

If there's any question in your mind, Paula Radcliffe is expected to win the women's race again (who cares about the men's race, right????) Actually, Ryan Hall is running.

The elite women running are: Yuri Kano, Derartu Tulu, Christelle Daunay, Salina Kosgei and of course, Paula, They look like they're freezing on the bridge and...They just took off!!! Love Mo, waaaaaaay too excited about the marathon.
