I woke up thinking it was Sunday, so I was pretty bummed when I figured out that it wasn't:(

Today, I am heading to the gym for some treadmill intervals (6x400) plus maybe some weight training or the stepper if I have time. My gym just got the stepper that they use on Biggest Loser - the one that actually looks like steps, so I would like to try it out. After the gym, we will more than likely go to Super Kids at the library. It's a kids exercise program and the kiddos love it.

Nick's grandfather is supposed to have surgery today. He has diverticulitis and had lots of bleeding in his colon. They have clamped him in several areas but it wasn't helping, so now surgery is the answer. Also, we just found out that my new sister in law (new as in they just got married on Sept 19th) is pregnant. Nick *really* doesn't like her so he isn't a happy camper. We found out from someone else though so we have to wait for them to tell us. (P.S. She is only 20 years old...) Obviously, don't mention it on my Facebook.

It's a little after 7am so I better get moving so we can get to the gym by 8:30.

Good Monday morning!  The boys have preschool this morning, during which I'll hit the grocery store.  My DH is away again, so I'm hoping to somehow get 3 easy miles in today.  My MIL said she'd watch the kids some while he's away, so I hope she comes through for me!

Maria, my old gym had one of those steppers - a great workout!!!  Many prayers for Nick's grandfather.

Good morning!

I think I'm going to take today off from running, but shred. My plan is to actually do Shred for the full 30 days and see what kind of difference it makes. We'll say how this works!

I also have to run by the store tonight, since I forgot cat food while I was there yesterday. Oh! The humanity! The cats were very unhappy with me this morning. Oops. But of course it would happen, since it's Monday. Ugh.

Maria--How terrible to realize it wasn't Sunday. That really sucks.

Mornin' ladies. I had a great run on Saturday, but the top of my foot hurts. It's kind of hard to explain where, but it's along that tendon you feel if you lift up just your big toe. Strange. So i skipped my long run yesterday & am just going to run about 5 miles tonight. i'm really trying not to do too much too fast b/c i don't want another injury like i got after my half (heel spur).

In other news, i found out my ex & his wife are having a baby. kind of in shock about him having a kid that's not mine, but oh well. i just hope my kids dont suffer because he's too busy with a new baby. but we have 8 months to worry about that.

Maria--hope the surgery goes well.
Liz--how about you just tell us when you DO run? lol.
