No, not the pounds – the cars (no, not mine, except a bit and not into anything thankfully). Winter returned to West Michigan today with a vengeance, just in time for the morning commute. Bonnie, if you sent the snow this way, thanks but no thanks.
Well, my first day of the new challenge was not a big success but not a complete failure either. I’ve decided to think of it as a step in the right direction. One step yesterday and two steps today and then three tomorrow. What’s that famous quote about a journey of a 1,000 miles beginning with one step? Today is another day and I’m ready to begin again – today and every day. I feel really committed this time (no jokes please that I should be committed, even if it's true, which it probably is). Of course, that little voice in my head tells me that I feel that way every time I start a diet, and I do. But all I can do is try, really truly try my best. And try to believe I can do it. Then, one day soon those nasty old pounds will be slip sliding away too!
I hope everyone has a fit and fabulous day!!
hugs, Nancy
