Bonnie, that is so great! Your family must be so happy and relieved to have him back safely. Thanks for sharing the news with us.

Hey Bonnie, today is a big day in weather history. Do you remember the big blizzards of either 1967 or 1978? They were both big events here in Michigan. I don’t know where you lived back then but if it was in Wisconsin, I assume they had some snow too.

Nancy

Oh dear let me think.....ummmm no I actually don't remember that.  In 67 I was only 14, going on 15, a freshman in HS and totally out of anything that didn't have to do with music or cheerleading.  And in 78, let me see now... hmmmm.... DS would have been 9 months old....yes I sorta do remember a very cold winter when he was a baby, lots of snowsuits and blankets on all the kids to get to Grandma's house.  I had to LOL when you asked if I remembered that.... I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday! Much less 30 or 40 years ago!!! ;-)B

Hmmmm . . . . I sense that weather is not the big topic in northern Wisconsin that it is here in southwest Michigan. Maybe because we’re just east of Lake Michigan (about 30 miles). Our weather is pretty interesting, especially in the winter with “lake effect” snow and such. I think I remember the blizzard of ’78 particularly because I spent six hours on a stuck city bus! But it really was a big deal here, with schools closed for days and gigantic snow piles everywhere for many weeks afterwards.
