Good one. ya can't feel love and fear at the same time so let's get rid of fear. Fear is my worst enemy. Potential, I have a new art teacher, I am going to be a fabulous artist!!!!!!!!!!!!! a good positive start.

Well, wasn't that just perfect for me to read today as I come and take a peek at the Beach...

Hi Cathy,

I have been on a hiatus for a while dealing with my health, and today I just had the thought that I am tired of waiting around to feel better, that I need to take a more proactive approach to my health.

So, I found myself back here at the Beach only to read this fabulous message!

I certainly think I was guided to come and read that today.

I dont' know if you all remember, but back in June I was dealing with a massive amount of kidney stones which popped up out of the blue so to speak.

Well, long story short and after months of testing, poking and prodding each and every organ - a tumor was found and diagnosed in my parathyroid.

So, my diet has had to change as my blood chemistry is all out of whack etc. which is fine, but I found myself just waiting around to hear from this specialist or that, and really handing over my health care to others.  And today, after more scanning and poking, I decided that this path isn't for me.  I want to take control and do whatever I can to improve my health/immunity even when facing this challenge. 

And here I am.  I am going over the South Beach Diet again as there are many changes that I would have to consider (far less animal protien and the ommitance of certain fruits, vegetables and nuts for now)  But I want to figure out a way that this could work.  Not so much for weight loss, but I always felt my healthiest eating the South Beach Way. 

Anyway Cathy, it was good seeing your face again and like I said earlier, the message - and considering who it was from (devine intervention or messaging? :)  -was just quite unreal.

I'll be back reading the messages for now and in the meantime be thinking/brain storming how I can make this work for me.  I really miss you all,

I have often thought about you and wondered what had happened.  Your post is very inspirational.  Keep us updated on things.
