Thanksgiving Challegers:  how was your Halloween? Were you able to resist candy?  Did you meet your diet and/or exercise goals for the week?  Now that we are just a few weekes from Thanksgiving, how are you feeling about your long term goals?  Please check in!

Sorry for posting this a little late today!

I had a good week!  I've kept off the pound I lost last week and am down a little more.  I've kept up the exercise and did some work to organize my home gym this past weekend.  Now I just have to get DH to assemble the new weight rack and we'll be set.

I am still having issues with too many grains.  I blame this one 2 things: (1) insufficient menu planning and (2) my ongoing digestive issues.  But I met with the doctor this morning and we have a plan for conquering this problem and putting it behind me.  I am hopeful that I'll be feeling better in just a few weeks.  So, with that excuse out of the way, I'll have to focus on better menu planning.

As for goals, I am sticking the course!

I am just NOT doing well this challenge, plain and simple!  The scale is all over the place...and not in the direction I'd like it to be!  I'm still hanging in there though, just hoping that things balance out as I get back in the groove of working out with my trainer and really focus on cutting out the junk in my diet.  Somehow, I've picked up a serious thing for cheese...I mean, I've always liked it, but hardly ever used it.  All of a sudden I find myself having it everyday.  That's not a good idea.

So, my goals for this week are:

* push the water - at least 96oz per day

* limit cheese to 2 servings per week

This past weekend was just bad. Too many cocktails, not enough vegetables and not enough exercise. The scale is up because of it.

I am going to try out a kickboxing class tomorrow night that I hope rocks my world because an hour of that, twice a week would certainly help me out!

I've done really well this week.  Haven't touched the kids' candy.  I also haven't had any wine since Saturday night.  I've dropped a few pounds, but that's mainly because I am incredibly stressed and don't have much of an appetite.
