I am 57 tears old. I am 5 ft. tall. I tall. I weigh 147 lbs. My problem is not dieting, I average eating less than 700 calories per day. I simply do not get hungry. I am trying to start a exercise program, I am extremely out of shape. I am at wits end, it's seem the less I eat the larger I get.
Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!

With those stats (57 years old, 147 pounds and 5 ft tall) you need about DOUBLE that just to maintain, if you do no exercise. I would NOT eat less than 1200 calories per day unless told to do so by your doctor. By not eating enough your body thinks it is in starvation mode and holds on the the few precious calories it can get.

You really do NEED to eat to lose, and I would DEFINITELY up your daily calorie intake to at the very least 1200 calories.

I am not a doctor, this is just my opinion from my experience and research.

Do you have a healthy eating plan that you can follow?

I try to eat lots of fresh fruit, vegetables,(I really like them)lean meat. I drink some milk 2%. I am desperately trying to develop a exercising program, just not sure where to go with it. I need help coming up with a exercise routine for full body toning.

yup 700 cals per day is too low

I hope you are taking a multi vitamin too cause with so little food you might be shorting yourself nutrients

One tip I do when "not hungry" is drink some calories.  I drink V8, grapefruit juice fortified with calcium, tomatoe juice and all other top of the line juices that are not sugar.

That way my body is getting alot of calories even though I am not hungry and it will not go into starve mode and slow down the metabolism.

hope that helps a little!

best of luck on your exercise plan.  toning up is a great thing for the body and gets rid of some inches...we all love that.

Your body is starving!  Are you sure that is all the cals you are taking in?  Perhaps journal and post it so we can look.  Often we think we are taking in less than we are.  Even measure food intake!
