Hi Everyone.  How are you all doing?  Hope you are are still "Firming".  I have not posted in a while.  I've just been busy with the return to work, kids and thier homework, etc.  I am still Firming!!!  You all know I love the Firm.  The last 5 weeks I have had theme weeks with my workouts because I just wanted to mix things up a bit.  I got a new bicycle in August and have been doing and 8 mile ride as one of my workouts.  One week I did  Firm Parts Upper Body Sculpt and Firm Parts Standing Legs, 2 time each.  Last week I  did Jillian Michaels, her 30 day shred 1,2,3 and her cardio kickbox.  I  also have been hiking a few times and have taken up jump rope as well.  Needless to say, I am in a recovery kind of mode this week.  My body was aching head to toe from all the work I did with Jillian Michaels workouts (countless jumping jacks, simulated jump rope and push ups!).  So this week has been alternating, Pilates and Firm Power Yoga.  I'm already feeling better, I think I just over did it.

Hi Sandra, it's great to see you back. It sounds like you're doing great. I'd love to ride for 8 miles or more but I just can't handle the bike seat. I've tried all the gels, sponges and everything else but to no avail. I keep telling myself I just wasn't meant to ride. lol

Oh, that's funny.  My husband just bought a new seat for me.  He got it at Walmart for $20.00.  It's big!  It's a full seat, there is no part that goes between your legs, it's just one whole piece, almost like a big square.   It's very comfortable.  The first week on the bike this summer, my rear end was very sore.  It just seemed like the more I started using my bike, the less it hurt.  Now I use it to bring my son to his friends house(he rides his bike along with me) instead of starting up the car to drop him off or pick him up.  I also do errands on my bike, like going to the post office which is a 2 mile ride from my house, or just running to the store for a couple of things.  It just brings back memories of growing up.  I listen to my favorite music on my blackberry and just ride and ride!

Take Care,

Sandra

lol A big square seat sounds like it might work for me. I'll have to go check it out to see if our WalMart has something like this.
