On this very special day, the final day of this challenge, I am hoping that I have made a strong case for:
1. Walking can be your a sport for life.
2. Walking is your best medicine.
3. Walking makes your life better.
You're getting healthy in time for the holiday season and it's my wish for each of you that you will giggle more, hug more, sing more and keep walking towards the best holiday season yet. I can't leave you without giving you some tips to keep your walking routine going strong through the holidays.
This Thanksgiving, get a powerful, positive blast of pleasure from those endorphins, our natural opiates, by taking a slow walk after dinner OR a fast walk before dinner! Choose whatever style of walk fits your schedule.
This Christmas, you are now the official "health nut" of the family! You are expected to make a healthy theme out of gift giving! Everyone on your list gets fitness shoes or workout clothes. Giving gifts that promote a healthy lifestyle says "you mean the world to me!"
Don't think I'd forget your assignment today. Your final workout is to walk for a full 60 minutes today — you're not a beginner anymore.It's been a pleasure to coach such sensational participants!
