Leslie I have enjoyed the time with you and this group. --even though I didn't post too often. At time I didn't walk as I should. this week has been low walking times; but consistant. Today I got over 1 hour. Thank you for your help and encouragement. I had one big problem in October as I don't always get to the computer every day. Well October was wiped out in November and I hadn't read part of October yet. Well I have copied and pasted the November ones so I can go back to them for encouragement. I wish I had done the same for October. Wish I could find continued support for weight loss and excercise. I did lose 3 pounds this week. Yet I have had trouble with this as I lose them and gain htem back. I have done this over and over. I I hadn't done so i would be at my goal weight by now. Best to all of you. Keep on moving. Don't give up.

Here are some links to other boards you can go to for support and encouragement.  Also, all the assignments are posted in this folder, and even after the board "closes" it will still be available as a "read only" board, so you'll still be able to get them here.  : )

Hi!

Keep walking! If you keep up with walking you will continue to see results.  They may not be big but they will nevertheless be there.  From personal experience I kept off or lost 10 pounds easily, just by walking back and forth from high school.  I realize that your situation is totally different but at least you had the drive and motivation to start walking in the first place.  Many people lack motivation. Walking is easily the most underrated form of excercise--but is quite good for your body--at least you realize this :).  Be proud of your accomplishments.  Good luck!
