So I need a great big dose of "get your butt moving again." I seem to be having a hard time finding motivation and an easy time finding excuses.

HELP!!

How's that?

Seriously, get up off that chair, couch or lounger, turn the TV, radio, Ipod or computer off and get moving! You may need to switch to another DVD and do something different for awhile.

Do you have any Leslie Sansone "Walk Slim" or "Walk away the Pounds" DVDs? If not, hop in the car and get to Walmart and get a couple. Get back home, pop one in and do it. It is fun, challenging and great exercise. She is such a motivator.

So get moving and do something! Hey--I know, Jog to Walmart.

I serioulsy used to walk to WalMart (3-4 miles from my house) but now they moved it another 2 miles farther and that would be quite a hike on some very busy roads. With the way people drive now a-days I'd be roadkill quickly! However, dodging cars might be a good ab workout ;-)

I walked to/from work (1 mile) yesterday and did get myself to do the video last night.  Shredding is on my list of things to do after bedtime tonight.

I had a bad eating/drinking/lounging weekend and must have needed a push to get over it. Today's my last day of work for the week so I will check in on Monday and report on my goal of doing Shred three out of four days. I CAN DO IT, I CAN DO IT!!

Are there other IV boards that are good motivators for exercisers?

You can try my other board: Getting Fit Families. Just click on the Follow me tag. We have daily exercise tasks that you can participate in, a monthly mini challenge and we are virtual walking the Oregon Trail. We are going to walk the Appalachian Trail next.
