I know several people here are doing Couch to 5K or Walk Away the Pounds, but what are YOU doing to get in your activity?

Do you listen to music while you work out or do you watch TV?

Do you prefer an indoor or an outdoor workout?

I actually prefer an outdoor workout, but it really gets too hot fast here. I am trying to walk on a regular basis, but now I am trying to figure out the *when*. For quite a few years walking was what I did in the morning as I get up, but now I have obligations early in the morning. I guess I'll be hopping onto a treadmill at home mid-afternoon!

I don't exercise nearly enough. I am lucky if I get out and go for a walk one day a week. I know I know.

I walk (when the weather and my blistered heels allow) 20 minute or one mile every day in the neighborhood. When teh weather gets really really bad (like now), I will go back to the gym's indoor track.

I do walk away the pounds and I walk outside with my little one. I'm so thankful she's still little enough to fit into her front to back carrier. :-) But now that the weather is getting colder I have to exercise indoors because I can't keep taking her outside in the cold unless I really bundle her up. She loves being outside though so that's something we have in common :-) The most recent walk away the pounds dvd I've been using is the 5 Mile Slim Down. It's so great cause you don't have to do all 5 miles at once and at the end of each mile Leslie does a boosted walk/light jog. It really bumps up the calorie burn :-) So far I've been doing 2 miles but I'm going to bump it up to 3 miles soon. :-)
