I was doing so well following the points plan for about 3 weeks. We had company for the weekend and I totally did NOT follow my plan, we ate bacon and eggs for breakfast, snacked all day, lobster and butter for dinner, etc. I am literally 8 lbs. more than I was 4 days ago, how in the world is that possible????
I plan to get back on track at lunch today, I am just really discouraged and realize that I MUST follow this plan to control my portions, and just kind of sad that I can't eat whatever I want, ok, done whining...lol.

I would say water retention due to excessive sodium is your culprit!  Bacon....butter....I'm assuming by snacks you mean salty type snacks.....

Hang in there and really push the water and I bet you lose a good chunk of that before you know it!  Sounds like a fun weekend though!!

I would guess a good chunk of that could be water weight from the extra sodium.  I always have that issue when I eat something that has more sodium than what my body is used to.  Drink lots of water and stick to your points this week and I bet you will see some of that come right back off.

good luck

Heidi

I totally know how you feel! I did the same thing this weekend but I don't know how much I gained. Don't worry hun just pick yourself, dust yourself off and get back on the wagon. The good thing about WW is if you do fall of the wagon it's not hard to get back on. I'm sure you'll be fine hun. *hugs* Here's to a better week.

LOL! I binged out this weekend as well.

We went out to dinner as a treat and I picked one of the healthiest options on the menu, but had two margaritas, a basket of chips & salsa, and now I'm up 2 lbs. *eye roll*

I'm kinda glad though because I realized as soon as we left the restraunt how HORRIBLE I felt overeating that way. Not likely to do it again soon.
