We begin a close to the last week of Oct.  So in lieu of approaching Halloween.  Will you dress up for Halloween?  What was your favorite costume as a child?  Hugs

I'm thinking about it. Since this will be my first (and last) Halloween here, I have no idea how many trick or treaters to expect, but the omnistore across the street has some fun halloween costumes in adult sizes, and I'm thinking if we do get kids that it would be fun to be in costume while handing out candy. Guess I'd better decide soon, huh?

I will not dress up for Halloween. Even assuming I was so inlcined, I don't have teh creative imagination for such an endeavor!

And to be honest, I only remember one childhood costume, a store-bought Jiminy Cricket (I must have been five or six) and I don't think it would really quality as a faovrite. It is only memorable because a) my brother wore the same costume and so did one of my brother's classmates; b)n we three marched in the town's Halloween parade; c) were pulled out of teh parade to get a prize; and d) were small enough that we were lost behind a pair of adult dice (THEM I remember) so the judges didn't see us until they had run out of prizes.

My Plan is to dress up as a Muggle this year. I think it's a great costume. LOL. I did consider buying a real costume and maybe I will I don't know...

My favorite costume as a kid for myself, well I wasn't really a Kid kid. I was 17 but my best friend and I went as Greek Goddesses. We made the costumes ourselves and they were awesome! :-)  For someone else as a kid, my brother went as the Exxon Valdez when he was...6 or 7? My dad made a ship for him to wear around him and he was dressed up in Arabian clothing (the long white robe and the red head thing- I don't know the technical terms). It was the COOLEST costume.

Oh yeah I'm dressing up! I'm going as a G rated Pink. Bright pink mohawk, rock'n'roll t-shirt, ripped jeans, awesomely rock'n'roll boots and stage make up. DH is going as someone from kiss with the big black wig and black and white face make up. I don't think I have a favorite from childhood. I have had more fun as an adult. :)
