Well I have this HUGE problem. It seems like I just CAN'T gain weight. I eat like everyone else...and I don't think I have a fast metabolism. I'm so skinny...I'm 14, 5'3 and 97 pounds. Is there any energy bar you can recommend for me that will make me gain weight? Because I'm DESPERATE. It makes me so sad because I can't fit into any adult-sized clothing and I look like a bag of bones! Please Help!

One of the easiest ways for you to try and gain weight is to simply add a couple of extra snacks to your eating.  Continue eating as you do, but mid day add a 250 calorie snack, and do the same thing before going to bed. Try having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or a bowl of cereal with a banana and some juice.  Or make yourself a fruit smoothie using some frozen yogurt and fresh fruit.  I think this will be the simplest, healthiest way for you to change your diet to gain weight without having to focus too much of food and eating.  At your age, while healthy eating is important, it shouldnt monopolize your thoughts or actions.  Get out there and be active and have fun.

Thanks for writing.
