Cheap Homemade Creamers?

Looking around my kitchen while trying to cut back on food costs, I see one of my biggest expenses is creamer for my coffee. Can't do the powder, eww..and it's not entirely inexpensive either (nor is it healthy) so I'm trying to come up with a substitute. I prefer flavored creamers, but don't mind cutting back on the flavor a bit so it's not as over-powering as some of the store bought flavors are. Anyone have ideas/recipes?

Thanks,

Hi there lottalattes (very cute name) ,
welcome to the Frugal Kitchen board...

Making your own creamers doesn't seem to difficult, they also store well... and actually they would make a great homemade XMAS present idea also.

If you do try any, let us know how they taste...   ;O)

Hope you stop by again.

Amy,,  since those are using fresh skim milk how long will they keep,, 32 oz for one creamer,,, that would last me months...  LOL    just wondering...  for those who drink it daily,, it probably isn't much... (choco almond sounds nice to me...)  which one do you use?

Suzan,

I usually stick to the powdered creamer because of the calories involved.

On occasion my mom will treat me with the liquid creamers and of course I love them.  I drink coffee just about every morning. Usually about three coffee cups full.
