I have one and never use it.... and it's a good one I got from Crate and Barrel when I got married. It's SO much easier just to use the food processor with the slicing blade!
I don't have a food processor. I do have a machine, I'm not even sure what it's called. It does process potatoes for me, for the few times a year I make potato pancakes.
