Always on.  And I pay the utility company an extra $5 a month for a huge dusk-to-dawn spotlight on my backyard.  After my burglary 4 years ago, I am not going to give any concealment around the house for burglars to lurk in.  It's all lit up.

Our condo is at the end of a street and there is a good size lamp post outside near the front of our home that lights up the area quite well.  Soooooooo - we do not have any outside lights on once we are home and tucked in bed.

I have a dusk to dawn light up on the old tv antenna pole but it doesn't work right.  It will come on for a while and then go off... you just never know when it's going to be working.

I also have a motion detector porch light that is on low-beam until something activates it and then it lights up nice & bright. 

Other then that... it's pretty dark ..  I live on a dead-end street - last house on the left... someone told me that was the name of a scary movie.  LOL

Off!!! We live on a corner lot... and theres a street light there.... so its bright enough with just that light on!
