Have you ever locked yourself out of the house?

If so, how did you get back in?

 

 

Oh my word... I used to do it ALL the time....

I've crawled in windows... I've had my friends crawl in windows.  I've also put both my girls through windows to go open the door.  I remember putting my girls through the bathroom window at my other house many times.... and we moved to our current house in 1988 when they were 5 & 3 years old!  LOL

Since we have an attached garage, I don't do it near as much. 

Yep - we've only done it once (so far), and Tristan was little - maybe 3 or 4? We have a really narrow bathroom window that was open a crack, so we hauled out the ladder and dropped Tristan through the window. We said "you are going to be the hero, today!" and as his feet hit the floor, I heard "I don't wanna be hero!!" But, he did go to the front door and open it for us....

I distinctly remember squeezing through a tiny crack in my parents house. The door was blocked by our old chest freezer on the enclosed porch - we never used that door. Apparently, it wasn't ever locked, either! I must have been about 4 when my parents pushed me through onto the freezer. I think I stopped and ate a cookie before I went and opened the door for them, though!

I just did it Tuesday! I was heading out with Tammy, I shut the door and as I was sutting it I thought...do I have my keys? Too late! It was closed...and I didn't have my keys.

We were laughing so hard I could barely get through the window...thankfully the window wasn't locked!

Growing up, we lived in the country...(my parents still do) and they never locked the door.
