1 pound ground beef chuck 1.25 oz pkg taco seasoning 16 oz can refried beans 1 pound tomatoes, chopped 6 green onions, trimmed and chopped 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp garlic salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 8 oz pkg shredded taco cheese blend 1 cup sour cream Baked Tortilla Chips, for Dipping
Cook beef in a skillet until browned. Stir in 3/4 cup water and taco seasoning. Reduce heat and simmer 5 min. Stir in beans until combined and heated through. Set aside.
In a bowl, mix together tomatoes, 1/2 cup green onions, sugar, garlic salt and pepper. In a second bowl, mix together 1 1/2 cups cheese and sour cream.
In an clear bowl, layer half each of the beef mixture, tomatoes and sour cream mixture. Repeat layering. Scatter remaining green onions and 1/2 cup cheese over the top. Serve at room temp.
