Lauren-
Thanks so much for your message. I've been meaning to write you all week, but it's been so busy at work!
Yours is the only reply I received and I'm so grateful that you took the time to write!
I have done ok this week, but have slipped up some, too. I'm trying to affirm myself more and think better of myself than I have in the past. Why is it easier to remember the mistakes than the "good stuff" we've done?
I've also decided to post how I've done daily and maybe that will be an incentive to not slip up and be accountable to myself.
Have you been successful in losing all of your weight? If not, I want to be an encouragement for you, too! Just let me know.
Keep writing and thanks again for your support!!
Love and God speed,
Beth

Hey Lauren!

Just wanted to say hi :) I'm glad you're doing so well and I am sooooo proud of the both of us! In time, we will do this! I am going home tomorrow morning and sooo looking forward to it. I've decided that I'm going to let myself eat what I want this weekend and try not to feel bad about it. After 3 months of being really strick, I deserve it! If I don't talk to you before, have a great Easter!

Lauren,

I was just reading your reply to Beth and really enjoyed it. I love your outlook about waking up to a NEW day every day. Leaving the past mistakes behind is something we could do in all aspects of our lives. That thought will definitely be helpful with the eating, too. Thanks for sharing. I think I'll add that to my journal!

Hi Beth,

I'm sorry I've not written before now. It seems there are so many joiners every day and with working full time, I have trouble keeping up with everyone here.

I'm struggling, as you are, in sticking with it this week. I like what Lauren had to say about "new day" which I posted to her about. Maybe her outlook will help us both.

We all need the support of one another here, for sure. If there's anything I can do to help you, please say the word. I'm up for any and all tips, myself. lol

It's nice meeting you here.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth-

It's nice meeting you, too!

Yes, we've got to stick together in this thing!

I've decided to change my routine up a little-My schedule is flexible with work and I think I'm going to leave 30 minutes earlier each day and go for a walk before I get home and get into the kitchen to cook. This is the time when I really want to snack and munch.
I figure if I can go for a walk, this may help me with my stress level and help me to put my mind on something else for a little while, anyway.

I'll let you know if this helps me-I'm going to begin today and try it for a week to see.

Take care!
Happy Easter!
Beth
