I too have shedding dogs (Aussie & Border Collie). The collie loves to sleep in front of my couch--hair everywhere. I use a regular dog grooming brush and "very lightly" brush the area. Voila! clean the brush, and continue. Have also used this on bed comforters, chairs, carpet, you name it--and works great!
