What color is the shirt?  Did it go through the dryer?  Material?

One thing you can try is Dawn dish detergent. Squeeze some directly on the stain and let it set. I've never had any trouble with it discoloring the clothing and I've even let it dry, but try an unconspicuous area first. This works great if the stain wasn't dried. I'm not sure how well it will work since you put it in the dryer. One very important thing. Make sure you do NOT USE BLEACH with the Dawn. They combine to form a poisonous gas.

Another thing you can try is Pinesol or Lysol. Again check for fading. These help take out machinary grease but I've never tried it on cooking grease.

Finally yopu can try Carbona's Stain Devils. They have 10 different formulas for different types of stains. The ink one took ink out of clothing that had been through the dryer. You may need to apply it several times though. It's hard to find but I've seen it at Kroger and Joann Fabrics.
