That ice cube smell is now in the tray

I accidently covered up the bowl of baking soda in the freezer and before I noticed it the ice cubes had that nasty taste and smell. Now I've found that the smell has absorbed into the ice tray. I've tried baking soda, lemon juice, and Cascade's Plastic booster with oder control. None have helped. I can put it in the dish washer because it's too big. (We have an ice maker/dispencer) Does anyone have any suggestions?
